The Dimension Group

120th & Upham

A C store commissioned for the start of the art district in Broomfield. After the first submittal the city requested a more mid century modern feel to the building.  The revision included space for a mural done by a local artist and aside from some materiality conflict with the metal siding warping over long spans as the client didn't opt for ACM, the construction was straightforward.

112th and Main

A commercial strip center all owned by the same developer and requested the same theme be incorporated throughout.  Various iterations were conceived of throughout the process and all forms of visualization were used including rendered drive-by's to incorporate the requests and critiques from the client.  Programmatically 4 separate tenants were looking to use the proposed developments with each of which footprints and overall floorplans had to be designed to accommodate for the separate businesses.

Douglass Colony Group

Denver Crime Lab

For the composite panel division this was one of the largest projects Douglass Colony has done.  I was responsible for reviewing contract drawings and sending back shop drawings to the architect. Once construction began, I reviewed panel arrays making sure all dimensions were accurate and made any changes necessary before they were sent to the router. Our company designed, fabricated, and installed 1,800 custom composite metal panels (29,834 square feet) in six different colors that due to the unique, varied geometric design of the building required intricate measurements on every single panel for a completely custom panel system.  The Denver Police Crime Laboratory is Silver LEED certified.

Denver Children's Hospital [East Wing Addition]

Pre finished Sunscreen systems, Composite column covers, Panels, soffit and sill systems were all a part of the large addition contract.  I drafted the components for the sunscreens as well as all shop drawings for the architects.  The fabrication process was handled by our team of three with one senor member of the team responsible for drafting and fabricating composite panels.

David Paauw Design

Theroux Residence

A renovation done on a house which spanned over 9,500 square footage.  The biggest goal was to create a unity within the facade as it was very heavy upon the west side.  My part was to translate and generate computer drawings for the client as the architect was very skilled within hand drawing but had no formal digital CAD skills.

Design by Leslie

Greenhorn Mountain House

An interior design project with renovative work and  some minor touch ups done to the exterior.  My role was to provide visualizations prior to the actual physical work as the designer was able to provide a narrative of what was going to happen but unable to sketch out anything concrete.  I generated a digital model which I was able to customize with the client's live feedback and provide my own design suggestions which were incorperated into the final project.
